The Grandmothers' Empowerment was ...very powerful for me!
The night of the Empowerment the Grandmothers seemed to be holding me and gently moving me through some old fears, with grace and ease. I felt so loved, supported, and safe. Safety wasn't even what I consciously asked for that night, yet that was their signal to me that all is well. The tears just kept streaming from my eyes, and since then I have experienced a profound opening in my heart.

Thank you for sharing the Grandmothers Empowement, I have a sense of peace and groundedness that I have not felt so deeply before.

Reading the book helped explained many things I intuitively knew or had heard before, but not in such a direct and visceral way. I knew to take my time with each chapter and I felt a high 'keening' to the author for I know 'depleted Yin' in my blood and bones and I feel my ANCESTORS knew this as well.

Since the ceremony I have meditated on "The Net of Light," and instantly felt the contact with 'sisters/brothers' globally. Tears come to my eyes each time I 'send' my love/gratitude/support to them and feel it returned as wave upon sand.

This is something I can feel, use and pass on. It is what I can 'do' without 'doing.' It is something I have waited for a long time. I am very grateful it is here to help us all, 'all my relations.' Thank you Carol and everyone who participates in the way that best balances them.

Who are the Grandmothers?

The Grandmothers' message is life-altering. It transports us from a state of helplessness, created by the imbalance on earth and in our own lives, to a state of empowerment and confidence - not confidence in the individual, small self that we have been told we are, but confidence in the Great Self that we really are.

The Great Council of the Grandmothers appeared to Sharon McErlane one morning as she walked her dog on the beach. "We have come to empower women so that each one can begin to bring the great imbalance on earth into balance".

As a result of her life-changing experience with these loving beings, Sharon wrote "A Call to Power: The Grandmothers Speak." The book reveals the Grandmothers' message, including the ceremony of Empowerment and Casting the Net of Light. It invites all people to take part in the sacred evolution of our planet.

Sharon is the Grandmothers' student and a mouthpiece for conveying their message. Although she is honored to share the Grandmothers' wisdom, it is not her message, but theirs.

You might be able to imagine a world of perfect balance, peace and progress for ourselves, our planet and future generations.

However, at present our world is not in harmony -- environmental degradation, horrific increases in crime against the helpless, and wars erupting all over the globe. The Grandmothers say that these are symptoms of gross imbalance, an imbalance caused by too much yang, the principle of masculine energy and not enough yin, the principle of feminine energy. "The present imbalance of energy on earth has placed all life in danger."

The Grandmothers say, "We have come to empower women so that each one so empowered can begin to bring the great imbalance on earth into balance. The feminine principle of energy must be re-established to its rightful place. Each woman who receives the Grandmothers empowerment is helping infuse the much-needed energy of yin into the earth by embodying this consciousness herself.

This infusion of energy gives a woman a feeling of peace and security. It increases the power of love in her, and as she goes about her daily life she becomes a blessing to others."
